Merry Christmas! Friends and family, jump aboard the Tram Polo Norte and off we go to see Santa! We’ll eat delicious pies while we watch the elves make our toys.
Since it’s too freakin’ cold in the North Pole, we bid a warm Até a proxima to Santa and his minions soon after scarfing this down. It’s time to get back to Lisbon, where we are just in time to catch the last of the sunset.
THE LIGHT of Lisbon is famous. And for good reason. The sun seems to cling to the edge of the horizon here, as if trying to prolonge its view of the city; romantically, like a loved one, lingering on the threshold of a door, drinking in every last moment with you before departing.
